Hip Hop Hooray! (K-2nd)
Put on your dancin' shoes! This class is designed for kids who love to move to a funky beat. In addition to basic dance steps, students will learn fun hip hop dance routines like "The Train," and "The Tootsie Roll." We'll end the session with a performance for all your fans!
Wheel of Fitness (K-2nd)
Spin the wheel, do the activity, earn E-bucks! This game show style class incorporates fun fitness activities like relays and obstacle courses with fitness-related trivia questions. Kids work together as a team against the wheel. Trade your E-bucks in for prizes at the end of the session.
Muscle Mania (K-2nd)
A high-energy fitness class with an ever-changing collection of activities- from wacky relay races to challenging obstacle courses. Find your own heart rate and learn the major muscle groups on your body with the Muscle Mania Rap.
Dance Mix (K)
Take a pinch of ballet basics, a smidge of cool jazz dance steps, a scoop of funky hip hop moves, and a heaping amount of fun, and what do you get? Dance Mix! This class is a great way to introduce kids to the joy of dance.
Rock 'n Roll (K)
This fun and active creative movement class is a great way for young kids to work on gross motor skills like balance and coordination. Students will discover all the many different ways their body can move through space- even defy gravity! Activities include tumbling, parachute play, yoga, obstacle courses, and more
Broadway Bound (3-5th)
Learn the songs and dances from your favorite musical productions! The future stars in this class will also learn dialogue, stage direction, and explore costumes and props. The last class of the session will be a special limited engagement performance for family and friends.
Choreography Clinic (3-5th)
Ever spend the afternoon making up a dance with your friends? Then this class is for you! Learn how to choreograph your favorite dance moves to music and create your own work of art. Work as a team with friends or choreograph a solo. On the last class you’ll take the stage to perform your own original choreography.
Team ElectriKids (3-5th)
This class is great for those who love to be in the spotlight. In addition to learning choreographed jazz and hip hop dance routines, we’ll also focus on stage presence and style.
Workout 101 (3-5th)
Do you know your biceps from your gluteus maximus? This fitness class for girls and boys uses cardiovascular and strength training drills to teach students just how cool the body is! Track your progress as you work on proper form. Learn to be a trainer for your classmates too!
ElectriGirl- a girls' empowerment program (5-7th)
Brought to you by ElectriKids, this workshop combines activities and group projects that will inspire girls to be their best. Activities include aerobics, kick-boxing, yoga, goal-setting, team-building, journal-writing, body image projects, and more.
Troop ElectriKids (all grades)
ElectriKids can visit your troop meeting and help the scouts earn fitness-related badges. Troop leaders can sit back and relax or join in the fun. Activities vary depending on the age of the the scouts. Multi-hour workshops also available for older scouts. |
